About the Erasmus+ project InclusiGardens

InclusiGardens is an innovative Erasmus+ project that promotes sustainable urban gardening as a pathway to social inclusion and environmental stewardship. Bringing together partners from Slovenia, Croatia, and the Netherlands, the project addresses key priorities such as combating climate change, fostering digital transformation, and enhancing accessibility in adult education. By combining technology, community engagement, and eco-friendly practices, InclusiGardens aims to empower urban residents to create thriving micro-gardens in their own spaces.
At its core, InclusiGardens emphasizes the values of inclusion and equality, ensuring that vulnerable and marginalized groups have access to the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to participate fully in sustainable initiatives. Through hands-on learning, digital tools, and collaborative workshops, the project provides meaningful opportunities for individuals to gain confidence, connect with their communities, and improve their quality of life.
The project delivers tangible results, including an e-Toolkit, zero-waste e-Cookbook, gamification strategies, and a practical curriculum. These resources are designed to inspire and equip participants to adopt urban gardening practices that are not only environmentally sustainable but also socially transformative. By fostering collaboration and sharing best practices across partner countries, InclusiGardens strengthens the European dimension of sustainability education and builds a foundation for future initiatives.
InclusiGardens is part of the Erasmus+ programme, which supports education, training, and lifelong learning across Europe. With a strong focus on digital innovation, inclusivity, and green priorities, this project reflects the programme’s commitment to addressing global challenges while fostering personal and community development.

From Croatia, Pučko otvoreno učilište Čakovec (Public Open University Čakovec) contributes its extensive background in adult education and working with vulnerable groups. With a strong focus on lifelong learning and green skills, the organisation is instrumental in creating accessible learning opportunities and ensuring the project’s inclusivity goals are met.
The eVRgreen Studio from the Netherlands specializes in gamification and interactive learning. Known for developing engaging and innovative solutions, this organisation enhances the project’s digital and interactive elements, ensuring that the learning experience is both motivating and impactful for diverse audiences.
